Ok, I know that Harley's have a big following and they are "American Made" and all. but man, I am tending to hate these bikes. I live next to Cowboy Harley Davidson in Austin and all I hear is this incessant exhaust noise. I tend to love loud exhaust on my cars and my bike has a custom exhaust too but the sound is much more appealing to me in contrast to something that sounds like a loud farting noise. I ain't one to hate what others love just because other people love it. Trust me on this... I don't dislike HD's either, I used to own one before AMF bought them. I think what I am really trying to say is don't make it sound like it is fast and hot when it is a machine that's kind of lame. I see these bikes all day and when they idle it looks like all the bolts will need to be tightened soon. They shake and make lots of noise but fall way short of a performance machine. So, why make them sound like a performance machine? Even then, it's just loud and annoying and most of all "fart-like".
